Dreams & Aspirations

I envision myself becoming a dynamic marketing leader who bridges the gap between technology and strategy. With a strong foundation in data, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, I aspire to lead innovative marketing campaigns that are both data-driven and creatively compelling. My goal is to drive brand growth and customer engagement by combining analytical thinking with storytelling, empathy, and innovation. In the long term, I see myself managing high-performing teams, launching impactful campaigns, and contributing to building brands that truly connect with people. Pursuing an MBA in Marketing is not just a step up — it’s a leap toward becoming a well-rounded professional who leads with both insight and heart.

Ideas & Reflections

Thoughts that shape my perspective

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.

By Steve Jobs

It wasn’t one single moment that changed everything for me — it was a series of quiet realizations, often sparked by something I read.

I remember coming across this quote during a particularly confusing time:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.” – Steve Jobs.
At that point, I had already worked at Oracle for three years, on global HCM projects for Fortune 500 clients, built integrations, led technical solutions — on paper, everything looked good. But inside, I felt a shift. I didn’t want to just build things anymore — I wanted to understand people, drive ideas, and be closer to purpose and impact.

Then I stumbled upon another quote:
“Fall in love with the problem, not the solution.”
That one hit differently. It reminded me of all the times I found myself asking why — why a report was needed, what the client was really trying to solve, what users cared about. I realized that marketing, strategy, and leadership weren’t a departure from what I was doing — they were the natural next step. I didn’t want to keep refining just the how — I was ready to lead the why.

So I did something bold. I left my job to prepare for my MBA full-time — something I had always dreamed of but kept putting off. It wasn’t easy. Some days were filled with uncertainty. That’s when I held on to this:
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” – Mary Anne Radmacher.
That quote carried me through the early mornings, the late nights, and the voice of self-doubt that occasionally crept in. But I kept going, because I knew this was the right path.

Today, every time I look at where I came from — robotics, research, tech consulting — and where I’m going — marketing, leadership, storytelling — I understand what Steve Jobs meant. The dots do connect. And the picture is just starting to form.
