Freelance Portfolio Website
As part of my internship at PixelCraft Solutions, I worked on designing a website for freelance designers. The goal was to create a digital portfolio that allowed freelance designers to showcase their work in a visually striking and functional manner. I began by researching the most effective ways for designers to present their portfolios online, studying various trends and looking for ways to make the user experience stand out. I worked on designing a layout that allowed for easy browsing of multiple projects, with clear categorization of design types and a user-friendly navigation system. I also focused on adding features that allowed designers to display additional information about each project, such as the design process, tools used, and client testimonials, which would help attract potential clients. One of the main challenges I faced during this project was finding a balance between creativity and simplicity. I wanted the website to reflect the creative nature of the work being displayed while ensuring it was easy to navigate and read. The final design was a responsive, visually appealing portfolio website with clean lines, high-quality images, and a simple layout that highlighted the work and expertise of the designer. This project gave me valuable experience in designing for a very specific user group—freelance designers—and taught me how to make a creative portfolio that was both functional and eye-catching.

In this project, I designed an event management app tailored for organizing and managing hackathons. The app needed to support features like participant registration, event schedules, team formation, and live updates during the event. My primary focus was on creating a clean and engaging interface that encouraged participation while minimizing complexity. I designed a streamlined registration process that allowed participants to easily sign up for the hackathon, create teams, and access the event agenda. I also worked on creating a live event feed, where updates, announcements, and results could be posted in real-time. The app included a built-in chat system for team communication and networking with other participants. One of the unique challenges in this project was designing an interface that could accommodate a wide range of users—from first-time participants to experienced professionals. I worked closely with event organizers to ensure that the app was easy to use and would enhance the overall event experience. The final product was an intuitive, mobile-responsive app that made organizing and participating in hackathons much more efficient. It received positive feedback from hackathon organizers for its user-friendly design and seamless integration with event management processes. This project was an excellent opportunity to explore event-focused UX/UI design and taught me how to create a platform that accommodates real-time interactions and engagement.
