🧩 Proof of Work
Launch of 'QuickPay' Feature on Paytm App
I worked as a Product Manager at Paytm, Anuj Mehra led the conceptualization and launch of the ‘QuickPay’ feature aimed at improving transaction speed and user experience. Recognizing delays in recurring payment flows, Anuj identified a user need for a one-click payment mechanism for frequent transactions such as recharges, bills, and subscriptions. I collaborated with UX teams to wireframe intuitive designs and coordinated with engineering teams for backend optimization using secure tokenization. With rigorous A/B testing and phased rollout, the feature showed a 35% improvement in transaction speed and a 20% increase in daily active users engaging with the feature. His data-driven decision-making and strong stakeholder communication ensured on-time delivery within a lean budget. Post-launch analytics showed reduced bounce rates and higher Net Promoter Scores (NPS), validating the impact on user satisfaction. The success of the QuickPay feature has been cited internally as a model for rapid iteration and user-first design.

Anuj Mehra spearheaded a major product initiative by leading a cross-functional team comprised of design, engineering, analytics, and customer support. Tasked with delivering a unified product enhancement within three months, Anuj established clear roadmaps, responsibilities, and agile sprints to keep progress on track. The team I was responsible for designing a smart transaction suggestion tool, which used machine learning models to analyze user history and recommend recurring payment actions. Anuj facilitated daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives, ensuring alignment, ownership, and rapid feedback loops. His leadership I was instrumental in resolving interdepartmental friction and aligning technical goals with strategic business outcomes. The tool not only improved user convenience but also contributed to a 15% uptick in transaction completion rates. His efforts demonstrated exemplary team leadership and showcased his ability to bridge product vision with execution. This project has been widely praised in internal newsletters and used as a case study in Paytm’s leadership training program.
