What you’ll work on

πŸ” Challenge Brief

Design the homepage wireframe for a mobile app that helps students find and track online courses. This wireframe will serve as the foundational blueprint for how users will navigate through the learning platform, making it critical to ensure clarity, ease of use, and engaging layout. Actionable Steps & Guidance:

1) Research & Inspiration: Before you start, research other educational apps like Coursera, Khan Academy, or Udemy. Focus on their homepage layout and features. What do you like about them? What could be better?

2) Wireframe Basics: A wireframe is a basic, low-fidelity blueprint. It doesn’t have colors or fonts yet; it’s all about structure. Start by sketching rough placements for:

  • • Logo and branding
  • • Navigation bar (courses, profile, search, etc.)
  • • Main content area (featured courses, trending subjects)
  • • Footer with contact info, terms, and conditions

3) Key Features to Include: Focus on what’s most important to a student looking for courses:

• Search Bar: A prominent search function for easy course discovery.

• Course Categories: Group courses into logical categories.

• Call to Action (CTA): Buttons like “Sign up,” “Start learning,” and “Browse Courses” should be easy to find.

4) Use Wireframing Tools: Tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD are great for creating wireframes. Start with basic shapes to define each section. Keep it simple — just rectangles, lines, and placeholders. 5) Get Feedback: After creating your wireframe, share it with friends or peers. Ask them if they can easily understand how to navigate the homepage. Use their feedback to make improvements.
