Problem I Solved
Most table-booking apps overwhelm users with inconsistent interfaces, unclear availability, and too many steps. I designed a simplified booking flow that reduces cognitive load and makes the process feel predictable and effortless.
Why I Designed It This Way
Clean hierarchy → reduces scrolling and confusion
Minimal colors → helps users focus on actions
Clear CTAs → quicker decisions
Step-by-step flow → guides user without distractions
Focus on readability → accessibility + usability
My Design Thought Process
Identified common user frustrations (waiting, unclear time slots, too many screens)
Created a linear booking journey with minimal steps
Used modern patterns inspired by Airbnb & Zomato
Kept spacing, typography, and alignment consistent
Added subtle interactions for premium feel

Home/Search — nearby restaurants + filters
Restaurant Details — menu preview, ratings, booking options
Booking Screen — date, time, guest count
Confirmation — success state + modification options
