Brand Identity from Scratch

Launchpad is a new-age platform intended to assist young professionals in showcasing their actual work rather than depending on resumes. The brand identity revolves around the themes of clarity, credibility, and progression, with a structured typographic logo and a growth-inspired visual element to represent the sense of progression and capability. The visual identity revolves around a deep navy blue base to represent credibility, with a blue-green gradient to represent growth and opportunity, while the clean and geometric typography ensures a professional yet modern look to the identity. The identity clearly represents Launchpad as a confident and no-fluff platform where actual work is valued over claims.

The pacing gradually builds tension before revealing the job offer in the final frames, creating a satisfying emotional payoff. The goal is to inspire viewers by showing that consistent effort and real work can eventually lead to opportunity.

This poster is designed for a fictional student film festival called “Made Here”, which celebrates short films created by students from Tier-2 cities in India. The goal of the design is to highlight creativity, local storytelling, and the excitement of cinema in a simple and visually engaging way. The poster uses a minimal colour palette of red and white, which creates a strong contrast and makes the design bold and eye-catching. Red is often associated with energy, passion, and creativity, which reflects the enthusiasm of young student filmmakers. The central text “Made Here – Students Cinema” is placed in the middle of the poster to make the festival name the main focus. A single bold typeface is used to maintain visual consistency and keep the design clean and professional. Around the text, several cinema-related illustrations are used, such as a film reel, movie ticket, camera, clapperboard, theatre masks, and popcorn.
