About the Project

Calculator App is a simple Android application built by Priya Deshmukh using Java for basic mathematical calculations. The app allows users to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with a clean and simple user interface. Priya implemented the core logic using Java to handle the mathematical operations and ensured that the app I was responsive and easy to use. The app supports both portrait and landscape orientations, making it more versatile across different devices. Through this project, Priya learned the essentials of user interface (UI) design for mobile apps, handling input events, and processing calculations in real-time. This app is an entry-level project that gave Priya a deeper understanding of Android development and Java programming. It helped her learn how to structure an Android app and work with basic UI components such as buttons, text fields, and listeners. This project also demonstrated Priya’s ability to create functional apps, adding value to her growing portfolio as a mobile app developer.
