Finance App Onboarding Design
In this project, I was tasked with designing the onboarding flow for a finance app at Fusionary Labs. The goal was to make the onboarding process seamless and engaging, ensuring new users could easily understand the appβs features while creating a strong first impression. The previous onboarding flow was lengthy and confusing, leading to a high drop-off rate. I began by conducting a user research study, gathering insights on what new users found confusing or time-consuming. Based on these insights, I simplified the flow by introducing short onboarding screens with minimal text, clear visual cues, and an easy-to-follow step-by-step guide. I also added progress indicators to show users how much more they had to complete. Additionally, I incorporated micro-interactions to make the onboarding experience feel more engaging. The redesigned flow led to a significant increase in activation rates, as more users were able to complete the onboarding process and begin using the app effectively.

As part of the redesign of a logistics app for Fusionary Labs, my role was to improve the user experience of the existing app used by delivery drivers and logistics managers. The previous version of the app had a clunky interface, poor navigation, and several usability issues that made it difficult for users to track and manage shipments. After conducting user research and reviewing analytics, I identified several key areas for improvement, such as simplifying the shipment tracking process, improving the map view, and optimizing the delivery route feature. I worked on simplifying the UI by introducing larger touch targets, intuitive icons, and streamlining the flow to allow delivery drivers to check in and out of deliveries with ease. I also worked on improving the reporting features for logistics managers, making it easier to track shipments in real-time. The redesigned app improved user satisfaction and resulted in faster delivery times.
