Redesigned a logistics app to improve shipment tracking and streamline the delivery process for drivers and logistics managers.
As part of the redesign of a logistics app for Fusionary Labs, my role was to improve the user experience of the existing app used by delivery drivers and logistics managers. The previous version of the app had a clunky interface, poor navigation, and several usability issues that made it difficult for users to track and manage shipments. After conducting user research and reviewing analytics, I identified several key areas for improvement, such as simplifying the shipment tracking process, improving the map view, and optimizing the delivery route feature. I worked on simplifying the UI by introducing larger touch targets, intuitive icons, and streamlining the flow to allow delivery drivers to check in and out of deliveries with ease. I also worked on improving the reporting features for logistics managers, making it easier to track shipments in real-time. The redesigned app improved user satisfaction and resulted in faster delivery times.
