Project Overview
Nikhil Yadav, a Civil Engineering student from the University of Pune, worked on optimizing the design of a pedestrian bridge as part of his academic project. The objective I was to enhance the bridge’s structural efficiency, reduce material usage, and ensure safety without compromising durability. Nikhil applied his knowledge of structural analysis and material properties to identify areas of improvement in the original design. I utilized AutoCAD and other simulation software to model various design modifications and conducted stress tests to validate the effectiveness of these changes.
