Local Library
Design a digital experience for a local library that helps users discover, borrow, and engage with books effortlessly—whether they’re visiting physically or browsing online. The goal: make libraries relevant and exciting again for a generation that’s forgotten their magic.

Project Overview
The app uses a warm, neutral color palette to create a calm and comfortable reading experience, similar to the feel of real paper. Soft beige tones are paired with clean black text for high readability, while subtle accent colors like yellow, green, and red are used for progress indicators and quick visual feedback. The typography is kept modern and minimal, using a clean sans-serif font that enhances clarity and makes long text easy to scan. Bold weights highlight key sections such as headings, while regular weights maintain a smooth reading flow across the interface. Together, the colors and fonts create a balanced, friendly, and visually engaging design.
I followed a clean, minimal, and highly readable UI style to ensure the experience feels smooth and enjoyable.
Clear hierarchy using bold headers like Popular Books, Community Picks, and My Library.
Card-based layout for better scannability and visual comfort.
Integrated search & filters to help users find books instantly.
Progress indicators (circular progress rings) for a motivating reading experience.
Borrowing modal with simple, quick actions like Return and Extend.
Personalized dashboard showing greetings, recently read books, and popular picks.
Community section to increase engagement through events and curated recommendations.
Bottom navigation for seamless movement across Home, Search, Community & Profile.
The overall interface balances clean aesthetics, easy readability, and functional clarity, ensuring users can manage their reading life without confusion.
