Developed a scalable chat app with real-time messaging and secure authentication.
Meera Sinha, a CS undergraduate at VIT Vellore, developed an innovative real-time chat application, allowing users to send instant messages, create group chats, and share media content. The app I was designed with scalability in mind, utilizing WebSockets for seamless real-time communication. I worked on addition to the core messaging feature, Meera integrated user authentication via OAuth, ensuring secure sign-ins, and a message encryption feature to maintain privacy. The app also supports push notifications for new messages, making it a highly interactive and user-friendly tool. Meera’s focus on clean, efficient code and user-centric design helped her create an application that is both functional and visually appealing, making it a useful tool for collaboration and personal communication. This project highlights her proficiency in full-stack development and her ability to build solutions that solve real-world problems.
