Overview

Many clinics still manage patient queues manually, leading to long waiting times, inefficient patient flow, lack of transparency, and difficulty in tracking appointments. Patients often do not know their queue status, while clinic staff spend significant time managing registrations and updating queues. A digital solution is needed to streamline patient registration, token generation, appointment management, and real-time queue tracking to improve operational efficiency and patient experience. Process The Clinic Queue Management System was developed to address inefficiencies in manual patient queue handling. After analyzing clinic workflows and identifying key requirements, I designed a full-stack solution using React, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. The application was built to support patient registration, token generation, appointment management, and real-time queue tracking. I integrated the frontend with RESTful APIs, implemented secure database operations, and thoroughly tested the system for reliability and performance. Finally, the application was deployed and configured for production, providing a streamlined and transparent queue management experience for both patients and clinic staff.
