The Opportunity: A digital display system that synchronizes in real-time with receptionist inputs to provide live queue status, transparent wait-time estimations, and live scrolling announcements. Process Research & Empathy: Map the workflow of a typical clinic reception desk (registering patients, issuing tokens, calling numbers, managing doctor status). Architecture Design: Create a lightweight, full-stack architecture using a React frontend (for responsive dashboards), a Node.js Express server (for state management), and Socket.IO (for instantaneous WebSocket synchronization). UI Design System: Establish a modern, clean CSS design system with custom HSL/HEX color palettes (teals/indigo), responsive grids, clean typography, and micro-animations to create a premium medical tech experience. Development & Syncing: Implement backend listeners and frontend hooks to synchronize queue updates, stats (served counts, total tokens), doctor statuses, and live announcements.
