Receptionist and patient dashboard
In many hospitals and clinics, patient flow management is still handled manually or through inefficient systems. This leads to long waiting times, confusion in queues, lack of transparency, and poor patient experience. Patients often do not know when their turn will arrive, while receptionists struggle to manage tokens, handle interruptions, and estimate waiting times accurately. There is a need for a real-time, synchronized token management system that improves efficiency for both staff and patients. Process To address inefficiencies in clinic queue management, we propose a web-based real-time Token Management System that connects the Receptionist Dashboard and Patient Display Screen with live synchronization. Results Reduced waiting time confusion by providing real-time updates Instant token updates across all screens using cloud sync Queue management improved with fewer missed or skipped patients Accurate waiting time estimation based on live data Faster receptionist operations with minimal manual effort Improved patient experience with clear visibility of queue status Efficient hospital workflow and better staff productivity Scalable system usable across multiple devices and locations Transparency in process, reducing complaints and confusion Digital transformation from manual to smart queue sys Reflection Improve UI/UX design to make the system more intuitive for non-technical staff Add a mobile app / SMS alerts so patients don't need to stay in the waiting room Use Al-based prediction to make waiting time more accurate Implement multi-doctor / multi-room support for larger hospitals Add patient pre-booking (online appointment system) to reduce walk-in crowd Enhance data analytics dashboard for hospital insights (peak hours, avg time, etc.)
