Most clinics still rely on manual token slips and verbal announcements to manage patient queues, leading to long waiting times, poor visibility, inefficient workflow, and frustration for patients, receptionists, and doctors. A smart real-time queue management system is needed to streamline clinic operations, improve transparency, and enhance patient experience. Process Queue Cure ’26 was developed to solve a major problem faced by clinics and hospitals in managing patient queues. Many small and medium clinics still rely on manual methods such as paper token slips and verbal announcements to manage patient flow. This traditional system often leads to confusion, long waiting times, poor communication, and inefficient workflow. Patients usually do not know when their turn will come, receptionists struggle to manage queues manually, and doctors lack visibility into the patient waiting list. To address these challenges, Queue Cure was designed as a real-time digital token management system. Results The implementation of Queue Cure successfully transformed the traditional manual queue system into a smart digital queue management system for clinics. The project demonstrated significant improvements in clinic workflow, patient experience, and operational efficiency. Reflection Unlike traditional clinic queue systems that rely on paper slips and manual announcements, Queue Cure introduces a smart digital solution with real-time queue management and live synchronization. Our approach focuses not only on managing tokens but also on improving the overall patient and clinic experience.
