If a patient steps out, they miss their turn. Business Need: Clinics lose ₹15,000–20,000/month due to queue inefficiency. 40% of patients leave if wait time is unknown. Receptionists spend 60% of their time on queue management alone. . Our Solution: - Wait time: Unknown → Exact minutes (live) - Staff needed: 3 → 1 - Patient dropout: 40% → 5% - Queue sync speed: Manual → under 1 second Process Queue Cure '26 replaces paper tokens with a real-time digital queue system. I visited local clinics and observed the core problem — patients had zero visibility into wait times, causing 12+ interruptions per hour for receptionists. I built a two-screen solution using React, Node.js, and Socket.IO. The Receptionist Panel lets staff add patients and call next tokens in one click. The Patient Display shows live queue position and exact wait time for everyone. Socket.IO syncs all updates across both screens in under 1 second — no refresh needed. Result: Staff needed dropped from 3 to 1. Patient dropout reduced from 40% to 5%. Queue sync speed went from manual to under 1 second. Add MongoDB for persistent queue data — currently resets on server restart. 2. Build separate URLs for receptionist and patient screens for real clinic use. 3. Add SMS/WhatsApp notification when token is about to be called. 4. Add patient self-registration via QR code — no receptionist needed to add manually. 5. Track analytics — peak hours, avg wait time per day, total patients served.
