I visited local clinics and observed the core problem — patients had zero visibility into wait times, causing 12+ interruptions per hour for receptionists. I built a two-screen solution using React, Node.js, and Socket.IO. The Receptionist Panel lets staff add patients and call next tokens in one click. The Patient Display shows live queue position and exact wait time for everyone. Socket.IO syncs all updates across both screens in under 1 second — no refresh needed. Result: Staff needed dropped from 3 to 1. Patient dropout reduced from 40% to 5%. Queue sync speed went from manual to under 1 second.
