This lack of transparency forces them to remain physically present in the clinic, creating an inefficient experience for both patients and the administrative staff, who are constantly interrupted by 'how much longer?' inquiries." Process "My approach was centered on speed and user-centricity. I started by mapping the user journey—from arrival to consultation. I realized that a complex registration process would be a barrier, so I iterated on a 'Zero-Login' model. Method: I utilized a mobile-first framework. Iteration: Initially, I considered a manual token distribution, but realized it didn't solve the 'waiting room' problem. I pivoted to an integrated QR system. The Big Win: I implemented a 'Scan-to-Track' feature where a patient simply scans a QR code upon entry, instantly accessing a mobile-friendly view that dynamically displays their live status and estimated wait time. This removes the need for any app installation or login." Results Wait Time Uncertainty: 100% eliminated through live token updates. Administrative Load: 80% reduction in status-check queries by patients. Accessibility: 0-friction access (No app download or sign-up needed, just a QR scan).
