Many clinics in India still use paper token slips and manual calling, causing long waiting times, poor queue visibility for patients, difficulty prioritizing emergency cases, and no real-time dashboard for doctors or receptionists. Process 1. Receptionist adds patient name and symptom. 2. System generates a token number automatically. 3. System assigns priority: High, Medium, or Low based on symptoms. 4. High-priority patients are called first, followed by Medium and Low priority patients. 5. Patient can check current token, tokens ahead, and estimated waiting time in the waiting room page. 6. When receptionist clicks “Call Next,” all screens update live and the token is announced by voice. 7. Doctor dashboard shows current patient, waiting patients, completed patients, and consultation time. 8. Reports page stores patient date, time, priority, status, and completion details. Results Queue Cure converts a manual paper-token clinic process into a live digital queue system. It ensures emergency patients are prioritized, reduces confusion in waiting rooms, gives patients clear wait-time visibility, and helps receptionists and doctors monitor the queue from dashboards. All patient queue records, priorities, dates, and completion times are stored digitally for future reports. Reflection With more time, I would add QR-code token access, SMS/WhatsApp notifications, login roles for receptionist and doctor, multiple-doctor support, appointment booking, daily analytics charts, and AI-based symptom analysis. I would also test the system with real clinic staff and patients to improve the priority rules and waiting-time prediction.
