Travel Booking App UI
As part of a project with BlueEdge Pvt Ltd, I worked on designing the user interface for a travel booking app. The primary objective was to simplify the booking process for users and enhance the overall user experience. Through extensive user research, we identified key pain points such as a confusing booking flow, long form entries, and lack of clarity in payment processing. My design focused on creating a smooth and interactive booking experience. I used a modular design approach to allow for flexibility and ease of use. Key features included a calendar for date selection, intuitive filters for sorting travel packages, and a progress bar to show users where they were in the booking process. To improve accessibility, I made sure that the app was compatible with screen readers and was responsive across all devices. After implementing the new design, the app saw an increase in bookings and a reduction in abandoned transactions, which proved that a seamless UI can significantly enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

In this project, I was tasked with auditing the user experience of an insurance app. The app had received feedback from users about its complexity, slow loading times, and poor navigation. My role was to perform a comprehensive UX audit to identify pain points and offer solutions for improvement. I started by conducting user interviews and reviewing analytics data to pinpoint friction areas in the user journey. I created detailed wireframes and flowcharts to visualize the issues and then proposed design solutions such as simplifying navigation, enhancing the claim submission process, and introducing a more visually appealing dashboard. I also suggested backend improvements like optimizing data retrieval to improve app performance. After the redesign was implemented, the app's performance improved, user retention rates increased, and the feedback from users became overwhelmingly positive. This project helped me refine my auditing skills and taught me how small design tweaks can lead to significant improvements in usability.
