When I first heard about the Wooble Hackathon, I saw it as more than just a competition. It was an opportunity to challenge myself, build something meaningful, and experience how a real product evolves through continuous improvement.
I participated in the hackathon with my project, Expiry Alert '26 – AI-Powered Enterprise Document Expiry Management System. The experience pushed me to think beyond writing code. It taught me how to solve real-world problems, work under deadlines, and build features that provide actual value to users.
One of the proudest moments of my journey was securing "3rd Place" in the hackathon. The achievement was incredibly motivating and reinforced my passion for building impactful software.
However, my journey with Wooble didn't end when the hackathon ended.
As someone genuinely interested in software development, I started exploring the Wooble platform in greater detail. Instead of simply using the application, I approached it like a developer—testing features, understanding workflows, and identifying areas where the user experience could be improved.
During my exploration, I reported several issues, including:
- Encryption/decryption-related data being visible in the browser's Network tab.
- Missing edit functionality in Chat Support.
- Leaderboard section-wise details issue.
- Incorrect time displayed while creating a Ticket/Doubt ticket.
- Dashboard "Share Profile" section layout issue.
I didn't report these issues because I was asked to. I reported them because I believe good software is built through continuous feedback and improvement. Every small issue fixed contributes to a better experience for thousands of users.
This experience reminded me that being a software developer isn't just about implementing new features. It's equally about understanding users, identifying problems, improving security, refining the user interface, and constantly making products better.
Today, I have around "1.6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer", working with technologies such as React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines,Java, .NET Throughout my journey, I have always enjoyed solving practical problems and learning new technologies.
My interaction with Wooble has strengthened my desire to become part of the team—not only because of the exciting technology, but because of the culture of innovation, learning, and building products that make a difference.
I hope that one day I'll have the opportunity to contribute to Wooble not just as a hackathon participant, but as a Full Stack Developer working alongside the team to build even better products.
Winning 3rd place was an achievement, but contributing to a product that impacts thousands of users would be an even greater accomplishment.
Thank you, Wooble, for providing a platform that encourages developers to innovate, learn, and grow. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute even more in the future.
