The Tactical Edge — IPL Analytics Intelligence Platform

IPL data is highly fragmented and difficult to interpret at a strategic level. The goal was to transform raw ball-by-ball IPL data (2008–2026) into an executive analytics platform providing franchise intelligence, phase insights, venue analytics and match strategy support. Process Collected and cleaned IPL ball-by-ball datasets, engineered match phases (Powerplay, Middle, Death), built franchise and venue intelligence layers, designed executive dashboards and developed an interactive match simulation engine using Streamlit and Plotly. Results Built a multi-module IPL analytics platform covering 19 seasons of cricket data with executive KPIs, franchise intelligence, phase analytics and strategic simulation capabilities. Reflection Future versions will include AI tournament forecasting, live match prediction, team logo integration, recommendation systems and advanced business intelligence layers.
