I stepped into freelancing to work more independently and creatively. I partnered with small businesses in food, fashion, and wellness — designing logos, packaging, and Instagram kits. This phase taught me how to not only design but also present, pitch, and price my work with confidence.

Right after graduation, I joined a boutique design studio where I worked on everything from cafe menus and wedding invites to salon logos. It was hands-on, fast-paced, and real. I learned how to translate a client’s vibe into visuals — and how to handle Illustrator crashes like a pro.

I spent three years exploring the fundamentals of design, falling in love with typography, layout systems, and storytelling through visuals. From designing fictional tea brands to college zines, this is where I first saw design as a language — and I knew I wanted to speak it fluently.
