Did the small-cart fee work?
The brief
Tokri charged ₹15 to deliver carts under ₹199. Five weeks ago it raised that to ₹35, the change most quick-commerce companies in India have made. Finance wants it everywhere next month. The VP of Growth wants to know first: did it work?
You get ten weeks of Tokri's data, before and after the change, and whatever else the team keeps that might matter. Work out what the fee did to orders and to what Tokri earns, how sure you can be, and what you would do next.
Something else may have changed at the same time. The honest answer may be smaller, larger or less certain than the obvious comparison says.
When you start, you get the company's files to download, and one of a few versions of what is going on in them.
What to hand in
- Your estimate of the effect, in the box on this page
- A two-page readout for the VP and the founders
- The one chart you would show them
- Your working: queries or a notebook
You hand it in as a project on Wooble: what you made, shown working, and a written account of how you made it. A link on its own is not enough.
Free, and always open. Start when you like and hand in when it is ready.
