Where Campus Talent Meets Opportunity.
Evaluation only · Open
Design a campus gig marketplace that helps students discover opportunities, earn through their skills, and build trusted reputations while solving everyday campus needs.
Overview
Every college is a thriving economy waiting to be organized. Someone needs a poster designed tonight. Someone can design it in an hour. A student wants to earn money by teaching guitar. Another needs help understanding calculus before tomorrow's exam. Someone needs groceries delivered. Someone needs a photographer for an event. Every day, thousands of small opportunities exist across campuses, yet almost all of them disappear inside WhatsApp groups, Instagram stories, hostel conversations, and word of mouth. Students have skills. Students have needs. But there is no trusted marketplace connecting the two. What if every student could build a profile showcasing what they can do, discover paid opportunities nearby, earn money, and build a reputation that grows throughout college? Your challenge is to design that future.
The brief
Campus life is full of untapped opportunities.
Talented students struggle to find people willing to pay for their skills, while others waste time searching for reliable help for everyday tasks. Existing communication channels are unorganized, difficult to search, and offer little trust or accountability.
Design a platform that enables students to offer services, discover opportunities, build credibility, and complete gigs in a safe, simple, and engaging way.
Think beyond an app.
Think about how trust is built, how people discover opportunities, how users stay engaged, and how the platform could become an essential part of campus life.

Frequently asked questions
Who can participate?
Any college student interested in business, entrepreneurship, product management, design, marketing, or technology is welcome. Students from all academic backgrounds can participate.
Do I need to build a fully functional application?
No. A clickable prototype, wireframes, low-code MVP, or a simple working prototype is sufficient, as long as it clearly demonstrates your solution and user journey.
Can I use AI or no-code tools?
Yes. You are free to use AI tools, no-code platforms, design software, or any technology that helps communicate your idea effectively.
What are the judges looking for?
Judges will evaluate how well your solution solves a real campus problem, the quality of your product thinking, user experience, business model, innovation, and overall presentation.
Is technical knowledge mandatory?
No. This is a Business Innovation Challenge. Strong ideas, customer understanding, business strategy, and thoughtful product design are valued more than complex coding.
Can we propose features beyond the problem statement?
Absolutely. You're encouraged to think creatively and introduce innovative features, business models, partnerships, or engagement strategies that make your solution more impactful and scalable.
