Tablebook
1)This design tackles the core frustration of restaurant booking: the uncertainty. Users are tired of unclear availability, long phone calls, and apps that don't confirm bookings in real-time. Our solution streamlines this entire process into a single, reliable platform, eliminating guesswork and giving users their time back. 2)My Thought Process My process was guided by one principle: "make it frictionless." I focused on two primary user journeys: The "Quick Booker": A user who knows where they want to go. The flow is optimized to get them from app-open to "Booking Confirmed" in as few taps as possible. The "Browser": A user who is looking for ideas. The home screen serves as an engaging discovery tool, balancing powerful filters (cuisine, price) with large, enticing visuals to inspire them. Every screen is designed to build trust—from the real-time availability on the "Restaurant Detail" page to the clear, reassuring "Confirmation" screen. Inspiration 3)The design language is a direct blend of Zomato and Airbnb, as requested. •From Zomato, we take the functional, data-rich efficiency—presenting key info like ratings, price, and cuisine type clearly and upfront. •From Airbnb, we borrow the clean, premium aesthetic—using beautiful imagery, generous spacing, and modern typography to make the app feel aspirational, trustworthy, and simple to use.
