What a UI/UX designer does day to day, the skills that matter, how to show them, and the internships open on Wooble now.
No open internships right now
A UI/UX designer decides how an app or website should work and look, so people can do what they came to do without getting stuck. A normal week mixes talking to users, sketching flows, building screens in Figma, testing a prototype with a few people and handing the final design to developers.
Figma is the tool almost every team uses. Beyond it: wireframing and prototyping, simple user research (watching five people try your design teaches a lot), a sense of layout, type and spacing, and being able to explain why each decision helps the user.
A case study beats a gallery of screens. Pick one problem, show the research, the early sketches you threw away, the final design and what testing changed. Put it on your Wooble profile with a link to the Figma file.
UI/UX internships are open to design students and to anyone from engineering, arts or commerce who can show the work. Teams care far more about a clear case study than a design degree.
Finish one project that looks like the real work and put it on your Wooble profile, with a short write-up of the problem, what you did and what you would change.

No. Internships are where you get experience. What helps is one piece of work that shows you can do the job, explained clearly, on your Wooble profile.
It depends on the company, the city and the work. Each listing on Wooble shows its own stipend where the company gives one, so check the listing before you apply.
Start with Figma, Wireframing, Prototyping, User Research. You don't need all of them before you apply: get good at the first two and show them in one finished project.
